From ol’ Stidham’s millstone,

cross the small canal east.

Follow the path south 

past the graveyard up the street.

Wander the way down  

past the bridge troll’s lair.  

Count a few boulders - 

find a floodgate there!

Climb up the stairs 

and around the bend,

find a bench to rest 

at the North Short end.

So much time to spend

And watch the river blue,

but the loot you’re looking for 

Sits under lore, not the view!
